Instructions: how to use blackjack tables

Numbers from 8 to 16 below "your hand" refer to the sum of your initial cards. From "A,2" to "A,8" indicates when one of your two cards is an Ace. From "2,2" to "A,A" is when your cards have the same value.

On the top you can find the card shown by the dealer. Match it with the corresponding line and you will find the perfect play for any situation you can incur. Most obvious play is not included in the table but it's important to remember that:
1 When the sum of your two cards is less than 8 you always have to request another card (HIT).
2 When the total is hard* 17 or more you always have to stick (STAND)
3 When the total is soft* 19 or more you always have to stick (STAND)

Key:

H = HIT = Request another card

D = DOUBLE = Double your bet: You can only double when you have the first 2 cards. If you can't double because you have more than 2 cards you have to hit when you see D (DOUBLE) and stand when you see Ds (DOUBLE/STAND).

S = STAND = Stick

P = SPLIT = Divide your hand in 2: If you split once you can't often do it a second time. Follow the table as you would do it for a single hand for each hand.

* You have a soft total when, having an ace your hand can be of two different values. Eg: If you have an Ace and a 3 your hand can total either 4 or 14.
You have a hard total when there's just one value. Eg: Having a 3 and a 10 you will always have 13.
